AC Milan will likely take advantage of Chelsea’s failure to sign Roma striker Edin Dzeko, according to Tuttosport.
The Bosnian international is being pursued by the Rossoneri in view to a summer transfer, and the Italian club are said to be hopeful of getting the 31 year old for lower than the €20m-€25m that Roma asked for the player in January.
Dzeko has revealed he was in talks with the Blues about moving to Stamford Bridge. The move reportedly collapsed over personal terms, and Chelsea then signed Olivier Giroud from Arsenal for £18m on deadline day instead.
Milan are however reportedly confident they can persuade Roma into parting with the Bosnian in the summer, with Dzeko’s age playing a bearing in the Giallorossi’s considerations in selling the striker.
Striker on the move!
