Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos reportedly wants Italian defender Leonardo Bonucci to join the Los Blancos.

Bonucci completed a shock move by moving to Milan from reigning Serie A champions Juventus. Since then he has struggled to find the form that he had in Turin. His recent slumps have been a downfall in his career but the main perspective seen by fans and clubs is that he is still a world-class defender.

According to Calcio Mercato, Ramos wants Bonucci to join him in Madrid, where the Italian will probably get a first-team spot. The reigning European and Spanish champions have been struggling a lot this season, being closer in points to the La Liga relegation zone than to leaders Barcelona. This deal can solve all the defensive problems Madrid have, it can also turn this defense into one of the best in the world.

Milan isn’t so open to the idea of letting go of their captain. Thay has stated that they want to try and keep their summer signings, but if Milan doesn’t qualify for the Champions League, many top players might leave.

Bonucci has made it clear that he has no intent on leaving Milan and is wanting to accomplish great things with the club during the period of 4 years. The move seems unlikely now, but in the summer Madrid can go full in for the center back and can land him into the squad.
