There have been some rumours that AC Milan’s coach Vincenzo Montella wants to possibly play with a new formation other than the sacred 4-3-3. Rumors have come out and said that Montella would run a 3-5-2 with the back line consisting of Bonucci, Romagnoli, and either Zapata or Mussachio. The mid field would be Kessie, Bonaventura, Biglia, Suso on the outside right mid and Riccardo Rodriguez on the outside left mid position. Then the striker partnership would be Kalinic and Andre Silva. Personally, I would like to see Calhanoglu come out on that outside left mid position and replace Riccardo Rodriguez and also have Mussachio start over Zapata. Another formation that was thrown around was a 4-5-1 with Bonucci and Mussachio in the middle Rodriguez and Abate being the fullbacks until Conti comes back he will replace Abate. Calhanoglu and Suso would be the outside mid fielders and in the middle would be Kessie, Biglia, and Bonaventura. And our striker would be Nikola Kalinic. But if I were Montella players that I would keep in the line up are Kessie, Suso, Calhanoglu, Bonucci, and Gigio other than that I trust his judgement but Suso is a big player we have to keep because he is our best player along with Calhanoglu with both of them together on the flanks it would be unstoppable.
Possible formation changes?
