Sevilla striker Luis Muriel has been linked with a move to AC Milan, claim Tuttosport. The Rossoneri are looking to bring a new striker to the squad as Nikola Kalinic and Andre Silva are looking set to leave the club. This only leaves youngster Patrick Cutrone in the striker position, with no backup.
The Colombian scored 7 goals in 16 league starts this season, also helping them reach the Champions League semi-final. His amazing form resulted in him being monitored by many clubs across the world.
The former Sampdoria man is wanted by Milan and is looking to leave the club at the end of the season. The Milanese club doesn’t have enough money to spend on the likes of Dzeko and Belotti, therefore they turned to the 27-year-old to help them bag some goals next season as they aim for a Champions League spot.
Muriel will have a tough fight with Cutrone and possibly Silva/Kalinic if he joins the club. A starting position is not guaranteed for the striker and can spend his time behind other strikers in the club. He is no doubt a great player and will have to give his all to the club if he is joining the club this summer transfer window.
