English club Brighton And Hove Albion are interested in Milan’s Paraguayan defender Gustavo Gomez. Brighton and Milan’s representatives have met on November 26, 2017.
Gomez isn’t getting so much playing time with the Rossoneri, a move to the newly promoted Premier League side could allow him to play more often, further develop, and get more experience. Gomez has previously been linked to the Boca Juniors, at the moment Brighton are the ones that will probably make a bid in January. AC Milan have told them they would be open to any reasonable bid for the defender.
Milan doesn’t really need Gomez, he doesn’t get much playing time at all, even when the squad is rotated. He has not yet made a Serie A appearance and played a total of 10 minutes in the Europa League. Milan would have nothing to lose if they sell him, this sale can supply Milan with some funds that they really need, especially to prove to UEFA that the Financial Fair Play rules were not broken. This sale should go through for the benefit of AC Milan.
Brighton Interested in Gomez.
