Giacomo Bonaventura says Milan ‘had a lot of anger and desire to come back’ and wants to see continuity.

Milan managed a win against Sampdoria at the Luigi Ferraris Stadium on Friday night and did that despite the fact that the performance wasn’t very good and many players didn’t play at their best.

One of those players is Bonaventura who is usually one of the better performers in this team but in the last 2 matches appeared to be a bit out of form. Yesterday he completed 90 minutes in a midfield position and he is happy to come away with a win.

“It was important to win, we played a tough game,” Jack told Mediaset Premium. “We did well to score a goal and to suffer, because Sampdoria played well and it’s a good team. We did well, especially after the last game. We had a lot of anger and desire to come back. We wanted to win.

“Bacca on the bench? It is a sign that the boss wants to give to show everyone that nobody’s place is certain. Bacca showed that even when he comes off the bench he can make a difference. Credit to everyone for the defeat, Lapadula did well as well. If there was penalty on me? There was contact.

“We have a series of matches that aren’t easy but by working with humility we can do well. We only got one away win now, we need continuity.” The next match is on Tuesday against Lazio at San Siro.
